Experience a tour of a special kind and dive with us into the magical world of salt! Passing Hellbrunn Castle we cross the border to Germany   and drive through the Bavarian mountains via historical   Mount Obersalzberg- Hitler´s mountain retreat- down to the valley of   the Königssee river and to the   main attraction of our tour, the 450- years- old Berchtesgaden saltmines. Dressed like a real miner you will enter the mines riding on a real mine-track railway down into the mysterious world below ground. Even further you are gliding into the mines on original miners slides and finally you will be noiselessly crossing the sparkling underground saltlake on a raft. Thereby you are listening to exciting stories and instructive information about this enchanted world and the “white gold” which brought   richness to the whole region from ancient Celtic times on until the time of the Prince Archbishops. After all these impressions you will have the possibility to strengthen yourself with some typical Bavarian specialities before we will make our way back to Salzburg.
