Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of one of Austria´s most beautiful regions, the “Salzkammergut” lake district, which is located just east of Salzburg. On this tour you go out of the city and enjoy a scenic ride along Lake Fuschlsee and Lake Wolfgangsee, then you pass by Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of the Austrian emperors, and reach the charming little town Hallstatt at Lake Hallstättersee, the heart of the “Salzkammergut” area. There you definitely will be enchanted by a spectacular mountain and lake scenery as well as by a unique historical town nestled between the lake and the mountains. The return trip takes us to Lake Gosausee with the famous view of the Dachstein - the highest mountain of this region with its glacier- and then further along the Lammer   river via Golling back to Salzburg.
